MMelissa Gillies' debut album King of Love was launched on Saturday, 28 March 2009 at St Thomas' Anglican Church, Narellan. Melissa and Ruth have performed together for many years, and it was only natural that they should collaborate on this project. The launch was attended by many of Mel and Ruth's supporters and friends, and featured performances by drummer/ guitarist/ composer Ben Pakula, saxophonist Mark Skewes, Ruth Buchanan, and Mel Gillies herself. Good Friday Celebration of Word and Song

Ruth and Melissa will be performing together at the combined Singleton and Maitland Evangelical Churches Good Friday Service at Maitland Presbyterian Church. The service will be held at 5pm, and will combine Easter readings with Easter songs, prayer, and an Easter message. A light supper will be served afterwards.
